Message from Principle, Dr. Phil Meager Welcome

Thank you for visiting the Hoover Website to learn more about our great school. Children come first at Hoover. The success we have achieved with students is due to a strong caring staff working together, great parental involvement and a focus on student learning. We are very proud of the students, community and PTO for helping make our school one of the very best in Oregon and America.

I hope you’ll visit Hoover soon.
Dr. Phil Meager, Principal

Hoover Highlights

Outstanding School:
Hoover Elementary received an overall rating of "Outstanding" on the October 2009 State Report Card. That’s the top rating available.

Food Drive Success:
Hoover students and parents donated 6,000 cans of food to support Washington School Gift Baskets to school families in need of food for Christmas. This enabled Washington School to feed approximately 63 families.

'Boundless’ Playground:
Thanks to a $130,000 fundraising drive by our PTO and staff, our students are enjoying Oregon ’s first “boundless” playground, with complete wheelchair and handicapped accessibility.
